March 3rd, Whakatū (Nelson)

300+ rangatahi, adults, parents, and activists gathered at the top of Trafalgar St before making their way to Civic House to present Mayor Nick Smith with an open letter demanding free public transport.

The March 3rd strike was apart of the national movement. The national demands included:
